Joined Chest of Drawers, Ipswich, c. 1690. Made by Thomas Dennis, Jr. Currently in Marhamchurch, England. The Ipswich Museum had a rare opportunity to acquire this chest, and we are excited to exhibit "father-and-son" Dennis chests side-by-side.

This Thomas Dennis Jr. Chest was made in the Thomas Dennis Sr. shop on County Road and is a magnifient example of 17th century American joinery.
